Drink Plenty of Fresh Water

Our bodies are composed of 70% water. Drinking the freshest water possible and staying hydrated are simple solutions for improved energy, flushing toxins, clear skin, and balanced blood sugars. Be selective of the water that you drink, as the EPA estimates that 1.5 trillion gallons of pollutants leak into the ground each year, with the highest incidence of contaminants from lead, nitrates from fertilizers, medications and radon. There are many filtration processes that remove contaminants.  The best kinds employ activated charcoal, which removes the impurities but leaves the water soluble minerals.  Avoid water softeners, which remove essential minerals, and do not store water in plastic containers, as the polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) leach into the water.
