Beauty Diet for Healthy, Glowing, Youthful Skin

It is extremely important to increase your awareness as to how you can use certain nutrients such as antioxidants, amino acids, minerals, herbs, food, acupuncture and exercise to heal, protect and nurture your skin so that it continues to have a healthy, vibrant, youthful glow ..... "Allowing you to feel, look and be the best that you can be through your journey called life!" Therefore, eating for beauty and taking care of your skin is essential. The following are suggestions that I give my patients to assist them in taking better care of their skin, health and beauty:  

Foods high in Antioxidants:  Avocados, asparagus, peppers, berries, raisins, melons, nectarines, apricot kernels, peaches, dark green leafy vegetables, orange squashes, pineapples, grapefruits, tomatoes, salmon, herring, oysters and sardines.

Beauty Foods high in Minerals, Anti-inflammatory and Alkaline in nature: Aloe vera, burdock root, taro root, arugula, watercress, celery, cucumbers, durians, radishes, coconut water & oil, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, macadamia nuts, olives, onions, papaya, lime, figs, nectarines, persimmons, raspberries, watermelon, tangerines, tumeric, nettle juice, parsley, dandelion greens, lentil, yams, wheat or barley grass and sea vegetables.
